Any individual, Hindu undivided family, association of individuals or companies or others, engaged or interested in Plastics industry, trade or allied profession, having their manufacturing plant, factory, shop or place of business in any part of India, shall be eligible for election as a member of the federation subject to the provisions made in each of the eight categories of membership as given below.

Producer Member : Any firm or company engaged in the manufacture of one or more than any one of the plastics or allied raw materials. Present annual subscription is Rs. 3,000.

Distributor Member : Any person, firm or company acting as sales representative of any manufacturing ormplastics raw materials and allied products or machinery, accessories, equipments, tools, dies, moulds etc. Present annual subscription is Rs. 2,000.

Manufacturer Member : Any person, firm or company engaged in the manufacture of machinery, accessories, equipments, parts, tools, dies, moulds etc or processing of plastics finished and/or semi finished products by power operated machinery. Present annual subscription is Rs. 1,000.

Associate Member : Any person, firm or company engaged in the processing of any plastics finished and/or semi finished products or in the fabrication of machinery, accessories, parts, tools, dies, moulds etc. mainly by manually operated machinery. Present annual subscription is Rs. 750.

Dealer Member : Any person, firm or company connected with plastics and allied industry or trade as importers, exporters, commission agents or otherwise dealing in plastics and allied raw materials and/or products. Present annual subscription is Rs. 500.

Life Member : Any person, firm or company who is eligible to be elected as a Producer, Manufacturer, Associate, Distributor or Dealer member of the Federation.

A life member shall pay a lump sum subscription as may be decided by the committee from time to time, provided always that the amount shall not be less than Rs. 15,000 or 15 times of annual subscription of a category whichever is higher at the time of admission. He will not be required to pay any admission fee or annual subscription to the Federation except the above lump sum subscription.

Affiliated Member : Any association representing producers, manufacturers, dealers, exporters or traders of plastic goods or raw materials etc. or allied professions, An Affiliated Member shall be required to pay annual subscription of Rs. 500 to the Federation. In exceptional cases, however, the committee can decide to admit a Trade Association as an Affiliated Member either at a reduced or even without subscription and without admission fee.

Honorary Member : Any person distinguished for Technical services or eminent in plastic trade, commerce or industry or otherwise interested in the aims and objectives of the federation, may be elected as Honorary member of the Committee.

Service tax will be charged extra as and when applicable.

Admission Fee : The admission fee for all categories other than Life and Honorary Members shall be Rs. 500 (Five Hundred) only.

Note: For any class of annual membership, if a member is elected after 30th September in a year, such member shall be required to pay only half of such annual subscription for the year of admission. The first year's subscription shall be payable at the time of admission unless otherwise decided by the Committee and all subscriptions shall be paid by 30th April each year.
